Formed in 2003, the Nuclear Jazz Quarktet is a fine jazz group located in the metropolitan Chicago area.  With instrumentation of trumpet, sax, trombone, piano, bass, drums, and vocals, our repertoire is diverse and easy to listen to, but always focused on improvisation.  Our music includes jazz standards, latin tunes, jazz waltzes, and up-tempo bebop tunes.  Band members are also active in composing and arranging many of the selections.

All of the members of the Nuclear Jazz Quarktet have had many years of experience playing in Chicago-area music ensembles.  Some of these include the Stanley Paul Orchestra, the Frank D’Rone Quartet, the Limited Edition Big Band, the Dick Kress Orchestra, and the Teddy Lee Orchestra.  In addition, they have accompanied visiting performers such as Johnny Mathis, Liza Minnelli, Tony Orlando and Dawn, Carol Channing, and Steve Allen, and have appeared at the Sabre Room and on the Oprah Winfrey Show.

The Nuclear Jazz Quarktet would be a wonderful addition to your reception, banquet, charity fund-raiser, or corporate event.  If you would like to book the group, use the Contact Us link to send us the information about your event.  We will get back to you promptly.
